Our registered children's home in Hillingdo is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our team and make a positive impact on the lives of the children we serve.
*Role Overview:*
As the Registered Children's Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the home, ensuring that we provide high-quality care and support to our residents. You will lead a team of dedicated staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will be crucial in creating a safe and welcoming environment where children can thrive and develop.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of care staff, promoting professional development and a positive working environment.
- Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to the needs of each child, ensuring their emotional, physical, and educational needs are met.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and external agencies, advocating for the best interests of the children in our care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as necessary.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the home operates within financial guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
*Qualifications and Experience:*
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a children's residential setting.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices in children's care.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people, with a commitment to their welfare and development.
